Sept. 19, 2022
Improvements include nanometer axis resolution, which provides smoother motion, finer cutting edges and the elimination of micro-chips.

MX7 Ultra Mold makers, as well as processors who make their own molds, can use ANCA’s MX7 Ultra CNC machines to consistently produce cutting tools with an accuracy of plus or minus 0.002mm. The company says the MX7 ULTRA can produce high-quality cutting tools such as endmills, ballnose and corner radius tools to satisfy all industry types.

What’s new? The MX7 Ultra, which debuted at IMTS in September. It includes improvements such as nanometer axis resolution, thanks to its new servo-control algorithm – providing smoother motion, finer cutting edges and the elimination of micro-chips.

Benefits Higher-production efficiency. The MX7 Ultra’s Motor Temperature Control feature cuts machine warm-up time, improving productivity and machine use. The iBalance software optimizes tool and wheel performance, which leads to increased wheel life and better-quality tools.
