Vericut CGTech’s Vericut simulation software can be used to visualize and optimize CNC machining. It operates as a stand-alone product but can be integrated with leading CAM systems.
What’s new? Version 8.2.1, which was released in November. It can simulate all forms of additive manufacturing, from 3-D printing methods such as powder metal deposition to laser arc welding. The optional Force Milling module optimizes toolpaths for everything from 2.5-D to multi-axis milling.
Benefits Enhanced speed and accuracy for mold makers. The software can simulate combinations of CNC machining and robot equipment operations to visualize, verify and judge the efficiency of all steps used to manufacture a finished part. The Auto-Diff module compares a simulated cut part against the model as designed, and identifies gouges or excess material. A new export ability makes it easier for mold makers to tailor toolpaths to clear or finish those problem areas.
