Oerlikon HRSflow has appointed Thierry Fabozzi as GM of North America, replacing Italo Bincoletto, as part of a structured succession plan.

Fabozzi has more than 30 years of experience in packaging technology and a strong multicultural approach. He will take charge of all operational and business activities in North America and work to expand Oerlikon HRSflow’s presence in the U.S., with a particular focus on the packaging, medical, consumer goods and logistics sectors.

He comes from Plastic Technologies Inc. (PTI), which he joined in 2012 as managing director of PTI Europe Srl. In 2017, he was appointed president and CEO of Plastic Technologies Inc. (PTI) in the U.S. He previously held key roles in the packaging industry, including at Nestlé and Tetra Pak.

Bincoletto will move into the role of president, supporting the company’s presence in the automotive industry.

“The U.S. is a key market for our business, and we are confident that his deep industry knowledge, leadership skills and ability to drive high-performing teams will accelerate our growth in North America,” Bincoletto said of Fabozzi.
