Günther nozzles ideal for micro parts

Feb. 17, 2025
The Prisma line offers precision, durability and flexibility, and reduces material waste.

Prisma Available with between two and five gating points for customizable applications, this Günther range of nozzles offers precise multitip direct gating with even injection point quality, even in small pitch circle diameters. They feature replaceable steel needle guides. They are especially useful for manufacturing smaller, highly intricate components, such as micro parts or medical devices, along with parts with demanding surface-finish requirements.

What’s new? The nozzles, which Günther presented in October at Fakuma.

Benefits Precision, durability and flexibility. The nozzles ensure shorter flow paths and optimal heat distribution, so the melt is protected from thermal damage. Parts produced with them have no visible gate marks. With the nozzles, the need for manual post-processing is reduced, and material waste and energy consumption are minimized. There are no leftover sprues. This reduces material costs and the effort required for post-processing and recycling.
