DC-B Common Control Conair’s DC-B Common Control provides a single control that works with all its upstream auxiliary machines that have an HMI interface, including the company’s Mobile Carousel Plus dX desiccant dryers, Carousel Plus D-series model dryers and CR-series PET crystallizers. Two versions of the control are available for dryers: the Plus version with a 4-inch color touch screen and the Premium version with a 7-inch color touch screen. The Premium control is standard on D-series dryers with throughputs from 600 to 5,000 pounds per hour and optional on smaller dryers.
What’s new? The HMI control’s availability for use with Conair’s dryers and drying equipment. New features include an automatic air-flow monitor, which tracks air-flow volume; setback on input, which reduces standby temperature based on machine downtime; and self-adapting “smart” recipes, offering 20 standard recipes and the ability to store up to 3,000 production recipes.
Benefits Decreased training requirements. The DC-B Common Control provides an identical user experience for Conair’s blending, conveying and temperature-control auxiliaries, and now its dryers with throughputs from 15 pounds to 5,000 pounds per hour.
