HydroPlasma This high-performance surface treatment technology from Plasmatreat adds a stream of ionized water to the company’s Openair-Plasma jet, enabling it to remove difficult organic and inorganic contaminants like fingerprints, oil and salt, while preparing the part’s surface for bonding, printing, painting or coating. Originally developed for use on glass and metal, it is also effective on plastics.
What’s new? The HydroPlasma system, which can be integrated into existing Plasmatreat systems.
Benefits Gentle, yet effective, cleaning and surface preparation of parts for demanding applications such as the manufacture of automotive, electronics, aerospace and medical parts. The cooling effect of the HydroPlasma’s water minimizes the risk of thermal damage. Because it uses no chemicals — only compressed air, electricity and water — the HydroPlasma is environmentally friendly, safe and economical.
