KraussMaffei linear robots offer multiple upgrades

Jan. 9, 2025
The LRXplus series features the user-friendly MC7 controller and has better crash resistance.

LRX These linear robots from KraussMaffei can be used with all types of injection molding machines, regardless of brand or manufacturer, with clamping forces ranging from about 40 tons to over 6,000 tons.

What’s new? An upgraded series, the LRXplus robots. They are available with the same payloads as the LRX robots, ranging from about 11 pounds to 220 pounds. KraussMaffei showed off the robots in October at Fakuma, where they served popcorn to tradeshow-goers.

Benefits Numerous upgrades over the LRX robots, including better crash resistance, improved cooling and more-advanced electronics. The new MC7 controller is user-friendly and intuitive. The upgrades contribute to greater durability, shorter commissioning, reduced maintenance needs, as well as easier setup, operation and service.
