Fusion Maguire’s Fusion combines the company’s gravimetric blender with the company’s gravimetric feeder. It integrates the controls of the WSB gravimetric batch blender with MGF gravimetric feeders positioned beneath or remote to a blender. This opens up many configuration options for processors — for example, blenders can prepare prime mixes remotely on floor stands beside the process or mezzanine floors above the process while feeders dose colors and additives directly at the throat of the process following an extruder signal or the cycle of a molding machine.
What’s new? Maguire Fusion, which was displayed at NPE2024.
Benefits Process control, flexibility and efficiency. Dosing and mixing are handled through a single touch-screen interface, while processors gain comprehensive materials data for enhanced tracking and reporting capabilities. The gravimetric feeder’s removable hopper enables quick color or additive changes. Maguire Fusion has a modular design that provides scalability, allowing for easy installation and seamless integration with any existing Maguire blender or feeder installations. The ability to add or upgrade components also future-proofs investment in the system. With Maguire’s more than 150 gravimetric blender models and three sizes of its MGF Gravimetric Feeders, Maguire Fusion offers a wide range of options and accessories.
