Press P 300 S-AI Artificial Intelligence Collin Lab & Pilot Solutions’ S-series platen presses are powered by efficient servo hydraulics to offer precise power control and quiet operation, and can be used to produce a variety of products, including pressed lightweight components, seals and medical implants. They work with a variety of polymeric materials, including resins with binder systems and fiber composites. They can operate in a temperature range from 68 to 662 degrees Fahrenheit, with the option to go as high as 842 degrees Fahrenheit. The presses have a user-friendly 10-inch touch screen, which makes it easier to monitor press parameters and data.
What’s new? Optional artificial intelligence (AI) embedded in the control.
Benefits Precise thermal control. The AI module uses data from a test run to create a digital twin, which finds the optimal heating and cooling parameters, and stores them in the control system. During operation, the machine learns and adjusts processes constantly to respond to physical conditions of the press and materials used. The machine learning also helps users achieve proper settings and conduct setup more efficiently.
