Wittmann adds EcoDrive to Drymax Plus line

Jan. 6, 2025
The feature automatically adjusts to material requirements to save energy and avoid damaging resins.

Drymax Plus dryers These mobile dryers from Wittmann are equipped with desiccant beds to supply continuous dry process air. Features include airflow regeneration to save energy and a function that lowers drying temperature during processing stoppages to avoid damaging resin. Models in the line have nominal dry air outputs of 1,059 cubic feet per hour or 2,119 cubic feet per hour.

What's new? Availability with Wittmann’s EcoDrive feature — the load-dependent regulation of pumps and blowers via frequency inverters. With this feature, the dryers measure each new amount of material and dynamically adjust to precise material requirements. Also, the dryers have a new, user-friendly operating terminal with a 5.7-inch touch screen.

Benefits Reduced energy consumption and ease of use. With the new controls, users can input and save drying parameter settings for each material in a material database.
