Electric forklift truck Toyota’s well-established three-wheel electric forklift truck has undergone an upgrade that includes improved ergonomics and operator-assist features. Base features include a capacity of 3,000 to 4,000 pounds and an AC drive motor, and an optional lithium-ion battery is available to minimize maintenance costs and downtime.
What’s new? A suite of more than 30 advances, including onboard programming and diagnostics.
Benefits Greater operator comfort, safety and lower cost of ownership. The new features include a wider full-suspension seat that has no hip restraints and is weight-adjustable. The truck’s parking brake engages automatically when the forklift is turned off or the operator gets out of the seat, and disengages with the push of a button. The new forklift truck has a 4.3-inch high-resolution display for access to controls and information, and, with the EZ Fingertip Control option, each function can be operated with a single finger or thumb. The optional SEnS+ pedestrian-detection feature enhances work floor safety. With its onboard programming and diagnostics capabilities, the forklift truck can be fine-tuned to enhance productivity, and improvements to its energy efficiency increase its runtime on a single charge by 40 percent.
