Hasco component demolds, separates sprues

The Z1725 combines a friction puller and a housing with an ejector pin.

Z1725 Hasco has put its friction puller in a housing that holds an ejector pin to create this two-stage ejector unit, designed for applications in which parts and the runner need to be ejected at different times during mold opening. The device delays the sprue puller pin so parts, then the sprue or runner, can be ejected. Users can adjust the friction force with a self-securing screw. The device works with no minimum stroke, with ejector sizes from 2mm to 5.9mm. According to Hasco, retrofitting molds with the component is easy.
