Thermal insulating sheets Hasco’s new thermal insulating sheets reduce heat dissipation from heated injection and compression molds into the processing machine’s clamping plates. Made from glass-fiber-reinforced, high-temperature resin, they are especially appropriate for use in highly stressed molds and have a coefficient of expansion comparable to that of steel.
What’s new? The line of insulating sheets, which come ready-made with drilled fixing holes and holes for guide pillars, clamp screw plates and centering flanges. An optional high-performance coating that seals surfaces and protects them from abrasion is available for medical applications and use in clean rooms.
Benefits Cost savings and convenience. The sheets can save significant amounts of energy and, because they come ready for assembly, they save mold makers difficult machining work.
