GasTrac Conair’s GasTrac process air heaters are powered by natural gas and can be used to supply Conair’s Carousel Plus central drying systems or retrofitted to various types of electrically heated resin dryers. Available in three sizes, they can serve multiple hoppers or dryers operating at the same temperature. They feature a ceramic gas burner with a variable-frequency blower drive that regulates combustion airflow to minimize emissions and boost fuel efficiency. A stainless-steel heat exchanger isolates process air from combustion gases, ensuring contamination-free drying air.
What’s new? Various upgrades. GasTrac air heaters now feature a 4-inch touch-screen HMI linked to an advanced control system. When used to provide heat to Conair Carousel Plus central dryers equipped with a Premium control, users can manage the heaters in three ways: locally through the HMI, through the HMI on the central dryer or remotely, via Conair’s SmartServices cloud-based monitoring and control system.

The control automatically displays all operating, alarm and warning information in plain text, eliminating the need for error-code lookups and making the heaters as easy to operate as electric models.
