M. Holland announced a partnership to distribute resin producer Lavergne’s post-consumer recycled (PCR) resins – a move M. Holland says will boost supply chain security and stabilize pricing for its customers.
PCR resins are a growing product segment, with demand growing to meet companies’ sustainability goals. Because Lavergne’s portfolio is 100 percent recycled, prices are not dependent on shifting petroleum costs.
“Lavergne produces superior, renewed thermoplastic resins that we’re proud to offer our customers,” said Samantha Stone, M. Holland’s global sourcing leader for sustainability. “Our partnership with Lavergne will help meet the demand for PCR resins for our clients in North America, where there is currently no viable solution.”
Headquartered in Northbrook, Ill., M. Holland is a leading international distributor of thermoplastic resins and ancillary materials.
“With a shared vision for sustainability, establishing a partnership with M. Holland was an easy decision,” said Benoit Bessette, VP strategy and planning, at Lavergne, which is based in Anjou, Quebec.
