BMR-100 The BMR-100 rotary sensor from BinMaster measures the level of plastic pellets in silos or hoppers. It operates by continuously turning a paddle until it is stopped by material; it then closes a relay to indicate a change in status. A light or horn signals when the product level is too high, or when the vessel is empty. It can be wired to shut off other equipment, such as a conveyor, when a vessel is full. The company offers 19 paddles for handling materials with a variety of densities. The device’s mounting plates come in several angles for use on sloped roofs. An adjustable top mounting allows users to change the high-level threshold via a coupling that can be moved up and down a 6-foot shaft.
What’s new? The BMR-100, which hit the market this spring and is available from stock for immediate shipment.
Benefits Simple, affordable measurement and the prevention of overfilling, material outages and production stoppages. Quick-disconnect accessories can be used instead of hard wiring, making the BMR-100 easy to install and remove for cleaning, maintenance or replacement. Additionally, collapsible paddles can be used for convenient installation without entering the storage vessel.
