Alldrive 2100 This new Alldrive electric injection unit from Arburg GmbH + Co. KG can accommodate tie bar distances of 630mm, 720mm, 820mm and 920mm. Arburg showed the new Alldrive 2100 on an electric Allrounder 820 A at Fakuma.
What's New? Its size. It's the largest electric injection unit to date in Arburg's Alldrive Allrounder press series, with the capacity for shot weights up to 1,286 grams (45.36 ounces) and clamping forces up to 5,000 kilonewtons, or 500 tons. (Arburg recently added a 400-ton toggle clamping unit to this modular lineup.)
Benefits A larger high-end electric unit for large-volume, high-precision molding, with the ability for the speed and flexibility of a modular machine system using standardized individual components. The electric 2100 injection unit's four servomotors and spindle systems were adopted from the smaller 290 injection unit, making spare parts readily available.
