Extruder-Mounted Simplicity Blender Advanced Blending Solutions’ (ABS) newest offering in the company’s line of Simplicity Blenders has the same features and performance as other Simplicity blenders but with a design optimized for extruder mounting. Features include ABS’ Chameleon Lite automatic clean-out function, which uses vacuum and compressed air to clean material from the vacuum receiver and feeding component hopper. The material is drained from a hose into a bucket below the blender to be saved or discarded. The feeder is removed from the blender component before the auto clean-out cycle is initiated.
What’s new? This model, with a better-balanced frame and increased strength for handling vacuum receiver loading and outside system vibration and movement. Optional doors are available.
Benefits A lower center of gravity and more-balanced weight distribution. The blenders are designed to be easy to install, configure, operate and maintain. Their optional doors protect feeding equipment from outside contact or contaminants and keep materials inside the blender. The compact blenders can fit easily between an extruder and most mezzanines. Each blending component can be simultaneously drained, drastically reducing the time to complete material changeover. Also, for easy cleaning , all material contact surfaces are electro-polished stainless steel and aluminum.
