PPA honors PMM publisher Eagan

Plastics Machinery Magazine's publisher, Tony Eagan, has been elected to the Plastics Pioneers Association (PPA) in recognition of his long publishing career in the plastics and chemical industries.

Eagan, PMM publisher and chairman, was one of the founders of PMM in 2014. Prior to founding PMM, he was with Plastics News from 1989 to 2013, including as publisher for the last 20 years.

George Yule, founder of plastics consulting company Plastics Network Resources LLC, also became a member of the PPA. Patrick Farrey, CEO of the Society of Plastics Engineers, was named an honorary member.

The association, founded in 1942, is a nonprofit organization that supports education and preservation of the plastics industry's history.
