    Carolina Color to distribute LIAD products in the US

    Specialty masterbatch maker Carolina Color Corp. Inc., Salisbury, N.C., now is a distributor of products from LIAD Weighing and Control Systems Ltd., Misgav, Israel. LIAD makes feeders, blenders and quality control equipment.

    Both companies are targeting advances in color technology and line automation as key to improving the way that plastics are produced. In particular, LIAD's technology is good for high- resolution dosing of Carolina Color's G3 line of masterbatch.
