Dri-Air is introducing the MD series of dryers for low-throughput applications.

MicroDryer (MD) This new Dri-Air line of compressed-air dryers with matching hoppers is designed for very low throughputs. They feature fully stainless-steel construction and glass hoppers. They have a 4-inch color touch-screen control, are available with 120-volt or 230-volt single phase power, and employ a 100-psi clean compressed air supply.
What’s new? The MicroDryer series. Dri-Air will unveil the smallest dryer in the series, the MD-1, at NPE, while the larger MD-2 and MD-3 are still being developed.
Benefits Precise drying capabilities for medical molding applications that have low throughputs and/or use high-cost resins. The dryers are equipped with a membrane and compressed air prefilter, allowing them to assure a dew point of minus-40 degrees Fahrenheit. The user-friendly touch screen guides operators through temperature and alarm settings, and offers a seven-day timer for automatic starts and stops. An optional adjustable fill sensor can be used with the standard full-length sight glass to vary the capacity of the MD-1’s hopper from 1 pound to 3 pounds.
