Airmate HLD Elgi North America’s new series of dryers feature a modular twin-tower desiccant system designed to deliver enhanced moisture control and improved energy efficiency.
What’s new? The Airmate HLD-series modular desiccant compressed air dryer, introduced in North America in January. The HLD series provides dry air to a drying hopper rather than functioning as a drying hopper itself. It can work with various styles or types of hoppers, depending on the application’s specific requirements.
Benefits Energy efficiency and enhanced moisture control. The dryers provide ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 2 air quality with consistent minus-40 degree Fahrenheit pressure dew points. They can deliver dry air critical for processes including injection molding (cooling molds and core pulling), blow molding (forming, trimming and flash removal), extrusion, pneumatic conveying and packaging. The heatless systems provide a continuous supply of high-quality air, alternating between towers in efficient 4-minute cycles for uninterrupted operation. With capacities ranging from 10 to 375 cubic feet per minute, the Airmate HLD series integrates seamlessly into compressed air systems for small-scale and large industrial operations.
