Platinum Equity completes its acquisition of Husky

Platinum Equity, a global investment firm based in Beverly Hills, Calif., announced it has successfully closed on its acquisition of Husky Injection Molding Systems (IMS) International Ltd. Platinum announced plans for the $3.85 billion deal in December.

Based in Bolton, Ontario, Husky is a global supplier of injection molding equipment and services and a provider of hot runners, aftermarket tooling, medical molds and specialty closure molds.
