GoFa The simple, safe and flexible cobots in this ABB line can be easily integrated into existing production lines without the need for expensive customization, or time-consuming installation and deployment. Unlike gantry-based systems, the cobots offer full 6D motion, without requiring additional calibration work, providing the flexibility and mobility to handle a broader range of tasks. The three models are designed for handling payloads of up to 11 pounds, 22 pounds and 26 pounds and have a reach of up to 5.3 feet.
What’s new? Ultra Accuracy, an optional feature to ensure exact positioning. It’s available for new GoFa cobots and as a retrofit option for existing models. Applications include gluing and sealing in electronics production, laser welding of car parts and composite material layering in aerospace manufacturing. Ultra Accuracy also can be used for accurate positioning of additive layers in building prototypes in 3D printing, and for performing metrology checks.
Benefits Product quality, operational efficiency and an increase of accuracy by 10 times, when comparing GoFa cobots vs. other cobots in the market. With Ultra Accuracy, users can combine precision with speed and a full range of motion.
