DelmiaWorks DelmiaWorks, the maker of this end-to-end enterprise-resource-planning (ERP) system of the same name, aims to help mid-market manufacturers, including plastics processors, increase efficiency and performance on the plant floor. It says the scalable software helps companies stay lean, agile, competitive and compliant with various industry or customer requirements. DelmiaWorks came about with the acquisition of IQMS by Dassault Systèmes.
What’s new? The release of DelmiaWorks 2024. Updates include beefed-up data security, new RealTime Process Monitoring (RTPM) features and Financial Summary and Detail Smart Page business intelligence (BI) dashboards, and an enhanced user experience. New RTPM features include the abilities to deploy common functions across multiple devices and to standardize CNC machine data with new support for equipment running MTConnect, the open-source standard for collecting data from manufacturing equipment.
Benefits Improved user experience and the streamlining of day-to-day activities. With the new BI dashboards, manufacturers can gain insights with inventory activity cost journal (IACJ) analysis and drill back to account activity to move seamlessly between a quick assessment of general ledger balances and further analysis of the details contributing to variances. DelmiaWorks’ efforts to improve the user experience include features that provide a better material repair and overhaul (MRO) work order labor management, among other benefits. Overall, the software provides visibility into the complete manufacturing process, which allows customers to limit waste and non-value-added processes, and improve manufacturing efficiency. With it, users can grow without adding labor, ensure on-time deliveries of products, and reduce scrap and the needs for maintenance and repair.
