The recycling system can handle a wide range of materials and degrees of contamination.

ReadyMac 500 This recycling system from Umac, a member of the Erema Group, includes a preconditioning unit, screen changer, extruder and degassing system. Suitable for handling a wide range of materials and degrees of contamination, it can process film, flakes and regrind directly into high-quality recycled pellets, with hourly throughputs of 1,102 pounds for linear LDPE, LDPE, medium-density PE, PP, PS, PC and ABS, and 992 pounds for HDPE.

What’s new? The standardized, 60-hertz version of the ReadyMac 500, shown in December at Plast Eurasia in Istanbul. A 50-hertz version of the system hit the market at K 2022.

Benefits Easy integration with other systems, cost-effectiveness, consistently high throughputs and quality for a wide variety of material types, such as regrind, film or nonwovens. The introduction of the 60-hertz version makes the ReadyMac 500 suitable for markets with this frequency standard, such as the Americas and parts of Asia.
