The Cooling Tornado creates turbulence in mold channels.

Cooling Tornado Z9665 This Hasco mold insert creates a turbulent flow for cooling in mold cooling channels. It can be placed into existing cooling lines in mold plates or cavities or cores. It can be used in combination with runners in core cooling systems or directly in corresponding cooling bores.

What’s new? The Cooling Tornado, released in October at Fakuma.

Benefits Energy savings of between 20 percent and 40 percent, a reduction in cavity and core temperatures of 10 percent and shorter cycles, thanks to efficient cooling. With the Tornado, users can achieve a temperature difference of 18 degrees Fahrenheit, compared with conventional cooling bores. Plus, the device is easy to retrofit.
