Sidel palletizer promises quick ROI

RoboAccess Pal S In response to what it sees as a growing market for automation to replace manual palletizing, Sidel is unveiling a compact palletizer that incorporates three new patented features. First, it has a lightweight, carbon fiber and 3D-printed clamping head. It also has a patented folding guarding system and patented mobile physical curtain to protect operators during pallet changes.  

What’s new? RoboAccess Pal S, which Sidel plans to premiere at Interpack in May.  

Benefits Fast ROI. Sidel said the system typically pays for itself within one to two years. Its lightweight head boosts payload capacity up to 55 pounds per case, with speeds of up to 12 cycles per minute. It also enables a reduced footprint of less than 130 square feet for two stations with a pallet height of 5.6 feet.
