Z4-23 This latch lock from Strack Norma GmbH & Co. KG, Lüdenscheid, Germany, is used to control the sequence of plate movements in injection molds with floating plates. Hotset America is the North American distributor for Strack Norma.
What’s new? The size. The latch lock combines the functions of the company’s Z4 and Z6 latch locks in one device, reducing the space required in the mold. Previously, the company’s latch locks needed a minimum stroke of 7mm; the optimized catch geometry of the Z4-23 reduces the stroke to 3mm.
