Milacron die head makes PVC pipe in range of sizes

MPH Milacron’s die head can make PVC pipe with a wide range of outer diameters and wall thicknesses; this reduces the need for multiple die heads, reducing capital and maintenance expenses.  

What’s new? The MPH die head, which replaces the company’s PH series of die heads. It has added features and improved performance to meet current market requirements for PVC pipe production. The updated design improves wall-thickness control and features twist-lock die retention, with the die retainer remaining on the die body. A die removal tool is supplied with each die to facilitate removal and minimize the need to handle hot, heavy parts. When changing the wall thickness, only the pin tip is changed, instead of the entire pin.
