Hasco system simplifies connections for mold cooling lines
Multicoupling system Hasco’s family of shut-off couplings and nipples are used to connect cooling lines to injection molds.
What’s new? The company’s clean-break multicoupling system, which centralizes the connections for several cooling circuits so they can be hooked up all at once. It includes a machine-side base plate with a pre-assembled lever system, and a mold-side base plate with cylinder screws and spacer sleeves. The system is available in a number of versions, including ones with hose nipples and Hasco’s Push-Lok nipples, and threaded versions with inner or outer threads. The modular units can accommodate six, 12 or 20 cooling line connections.
Benefits Quick and easy setup. The multicoupling system eliminates the risk of accidentally mixing up the various cooling circuits and hoses and is simple to integrate into existing setups. Users simply insert the machine-side component via the centering bush into the mold-side portion of the system and turn the lever-lock 180 degrees. Additionally, it features flat sealing surfaces that prevent cooling fluid from leaking during decoupling, keeping workers safe.
