3DT, a manufacturer of corona and plasma surface treatment equipment, is now offering contract services and preventive maintenance.
In a preventive maintenance visit, a 3DT technician will evaluate the customer’s system, make adjustments and replace worn parts. Typical service activities include examining nozzles, cleaning treating heads, inspecting electrodes, belts, cables and more, and monitoring the entire system while running to make sure it is functioning according to original specifications.
For the contract service, 3DT will analyze a customer’s needs, recommend a treatment process, then process the parts to the customer’s specifications and return them. The service is ideal for manufacturers who aren’t ready to purchase a surface treatment system, or produce volumes too low to justify one.
