Haitian International has inaugurated its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Jalisco, Mexico, which entailed an investment of about $50 million.
About 400 guests attended the formal ceremony June 21 at the new facility, which covers a total area of about 990,280 square feet, of which about 290,625 square feet is dedicated to production space. To date, more than 100 machines have been produced and delivered to regional customers after trial operation.
Zhang Jianming, CEO of Haitian Group, said, “With this plant, we will provide turnkey solutions and actively fulfill our social responsibility to actively promote the region with the expansion of local supply chains and fair jobs.” Based in Ningbo, China, Haitian International Holdings Ltd. is the world's leading manufacturer of plastic injection molding machines.
The new plant will boost production and shorten delivery times for customers in the region. For the time being, the company expects the plant to mainly supply machines to Central and South America, but it could eventually begin supplying servo-hydraulic machines to North America through Absolute Haitian.
