Niigata has extended its all-electric injection molding machine series, which boasts ultra-low speeds and high precision, with a new size.

MD-S7000 Niigata has extended its all-electric injection molding machine series, which boasts ultra-low speeds and high precision, with a new size. In the United States, it is available through DJA Global Group.

What's new? The size. A 385-ton model is now available in the series.  Also, the machines now have Balance Control Filling, which allows material to keep into the mold while the screw is stopped.

Benefits Stable molding, shorter cycle times and shock-less mold opening. The machines are capable of ultra-low injection speed and long hold times, which is useful for making high-precision, thick-walled parts with optical quality, such as vehicle  lenses. With Balance Control Filling, pressure is more easily controlled, contributing to greater precision and consistency. This function is ideal for multicavity molds, and for parts with both thick- and thin-walled areas. Upgrades to the HMI, including remote accessibility, have made it easier to use. In addition, the machine's design protects the mold.
