MULTI-LAYER BARRIER MODULE This multi-layer barrier module from Husky Injection Molding Systems yields PET products with low barrier content for beverage packaging and medical markets. The module is now available with the HyPET HPP5 system. Husky will exhibit the HyPet HPP5 at NPE.
WHAT'S NEW? The system can produce multi-layer preforms at 2.5 percent and 1 percent barrier, saving up to 50 percent on barrier material costs. Advanced melt delivery system with Husky's Stratus hot runner allows the module to precisely dose and distribute barrier material.
BENEFITS The module is flexible and compatible with mono-layer and multi-layer tooling.
