Lodestar VS This variable-speed electric chain hoist from Columbus McKinnon has a standard lift height of 10 feet, a zinc-plated load chain and a heavy-duty brake for long service life. It features a variable- frequency drive and a lifetime grease-lubricated gear box that eliminates the need for oil changes. Its optional CM Rocket universal pendant control has an ergonomically designed rocker switch that reduces thumb strain and fatigue. The hoist’s SwiftLift feature improves efficiency by allowing the hook to move twice as fast when it’s not under load. Additionally, it features the company’s CM HI-Tech computer interface, which allows users to easily set the maximum and minimum hoist speeds.

What’s new? Additional sizes. Previously available with capacities ranging from 250 pounds to 1 ton, the Lodestar VS now comes in 2-ton and 3-ton models.

Benefits Safe, accurate transport and positioning of heavy loads. The pendant control allows the operator to precisely control the load for micro-positioning applications while the Magnetek Impulse G+ Mini drive ensures smooth acceleration and deceleration.
