Graham Engineering Co. LLC recently hosted more than two dozen senior business leaders at a business-development event held at the U.S. Embassy in Prague, Czech Republic.
The event was part of an initiative to expand Graham’s business in Eastern Europe, and was organized by Vladimir Ilyutovich, Graham's director of international sales – extruders and systems EMEA, APAC, in collaboration with the U.S. Commercial Service team.
“We chose Prague because it has a diverse and growing economy and it plays an important role in the overall economic development of Czechia and Eastern Europe as a whole,” said Mike Duff, Graham VP of sales and service. “It has a well-connected transportation system and, as a member of the European Union, it benefits from EU funds, which have helped to finance many large-scale infrastructure and development projects. All this makes it a popular destination for international trade and investment.”
To further expand its global reach, the company plans similar events for the future in Europe and the Asia-Pacific market, with similar industry gatherings being planned for Kazakhstan and Vietnam and/or Singapore in 2024.
Headquartered in York, Pa., Graham Engineering’s brands include American Kuhne and Welex, and among them supply equipment for polymer extrusion, blow molding and sheet as well as turnkey systems.
