    US Extruders Inc. has completed an expansion that nearly doubles its manufacturing space.

    The company said it has seen unprecedented sales growth, which it projects to be 25 to 30 percent over the last year. The expansion, which included new overhead cranes, brings the company’s facility to just over 31,000 square feet. The facility is powered by 100 percent solar energy.

    The Westerly, R.I., company manufactures custom single-screw extruders, extrusion systems and screws.
