Plastics Extrusion Machinery LLC (PEM), which makes downstream extrusion equipment, plans a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of construction of its new corporate headquarters on Sept. 22. The new site is in McPherson, Kan., where the company is currently based. However, the new, state-of-the-art facility will sit on 15 acres and provide an additional 73,000 square feet for administrative and production functions. The new space will allow PEM to expand its workforce and increase production capacity.
