Dec. 28, 2015

SencorpWhite, Hyannis, Mass., which designs and manufactures automation and inventory-management systems, has a new owner.

Connell Limited Partnership, a family-owned investment company in Boston, purchased SencorpWhite in November. Connell's other investments include companies serving the automotive, energy, mining, construction and agriculture industries. According to SencorpWhite, Connell has sales of $1.5 billion.

SencorpWhite says Connell's investment will allow it to take advantage of opportunities in both existing and new markets. It says Connell's involvement will accelerate sales and marketing efforts, acquisitions and R&D.

In particular, it cites new opportunities for WillCall Rx, its new pharmaceutical fulfillment service.
