    RocTool SA, Le Bourget-du-Lac, France, named Jean-Marie Deméautis director and chairman of the board. Deméautis previously served as VP and corporate officer for packaging giant Sealed Air Corp., Charlotte, N.C. 
    RocTool develops processes for rapid molding of composites and plastic materials. It also has subsidiaries in Germany, Taiwan and the United States with sales offices and demonstration centers in Italy and Japan.

    Matt Seaholm, left, appears on stage with Bill Carteaux in 2018 at the Global Plastics Summit. Carteaux, who had served the Plastics Industry Association as its president and CEO since 2005, when it was known as the Society of the Plastics Industry, died a few weeks later. In 2022, Seaholm was promoted to helm the organization.
