Low-maintenance TCU saves energy

Eco series This new line of temperature control units (TCUs) from Delta T is compatible with injection molding, blow molding and other plastics processes. The water TCUs initially will be available in four sizes.

What’s new? The product line, which features upgrades over previous Delta T TCUs. The units have a redesigned pump and a two-tank design that allows for built-in indirect cooling. New safety features include a switch that protects the heater from overheating, circuit protection for the motor and a high- temperature pump seal. The company plans to start shipping the first units by the end of next month.  

Benefits Minimal maintenance requirements and reduced energy consumption. The TCUs have an industrial-strength frame and cabinet with lift-off panels for easy access to internal components.
