3D Systems unveils new color for DuraForm PAx, which is durable and highly recyclable.

DuraForm PAx This production-grade family of nylon copolymer resins comes from a partnership between 3D Systems and Domat/Ems, Switzerland The resins, which are for use in selective-laser-sintering printers, have high-impact resistance with high elongation at break in any direction.  

What’s new? DuraForm PAx Black, which debuted in September. It joins the existing DuraForm PAx Natural material.  

Benefits Durability and high recyclability. DuraForm PAx can be used for general-purpose prototypes as well as end-use parts, and is highly recyclable. When vapor-honed, parts acquire a smooth finish that is nearly indistinguishable from injection molded parts.
