HTS This ceramic fiber-filled photopolymer is suitable for a variety of parts, including jigs, fixtures, tooling and end-use parts. It’s the latest from Fortify, which makes the Flux series of digital light projection 3D printers, along with a range of viscous and filled materials for its printers.
What’s new? The resin. HTS stands for high temperature and strength.
Benefits High productivity and low waste. HTS offers high-temperature performance with a heat-deflection temperature greater than 572 degrees Fahrenheit and a tensile strength of 90 megapascals in the Z-direction. The company said it has properties comparable to engineering plastics such as PEEK. Also, parts produced from HTS can be autoclaved.
