Elegoo printer handles variety of materials

The affordable Centauri Carbon is ready to print out of the box.

Centauri Carbon 3D Printer Elegoo has upgraded its popular high-speed Centauri FDM printer with the Centauri Carbon model, which has a fully enclosed cabinet. Build volume is 10.08 inches by 10.08 inches by 10.08 inches. The printing platform size is 10.2 inches by 10.2 inches by 10.3 inches. Maximum heated bed temperature is 230 degrees Fahrenheit and maximum temperature for the brass nozzle is 680 degrees Fahrenheit. It includes a chamber camera for a time-lapse record of the project build. Calibration is automatic. 

What’s new? The Centauri Carbon. It can print with a wide variety of materials, including carbon and glass fiber reinforced filaments. The metal printer case has a glass door. Multi-color printing will be available in Q3 2025. An auxiliary part cooling fan, chamber regulator fan and activated carbon filter are included on the new model. An upgraded, dual-sided plate features a new PLA-specific surface with good adhesion and minimal warping for better PLA printing at lower heat bed temperatures. 

Benefits The Centauri Carbon is ready to print right out of the box. Price is $299.99. Integrated die-cast aluminum construction of the frame provides better stability and reduced vibration for high-speed printing. It also includes an automatic vibration compensation system and pressure advanced of the filament to eliminate ringing or ghosting in prints.
