Bay Plastics Machinery planned to mark its 25th anniversary and remember founder Tony Forgash in a company event June 15.
The global manufacturer of strand pelletizers and related equipment held a company-wide picnic at its headquarters in Bay City, Mich.
He started Bay Plastics Machinery in 1997 when Conair moved its Jetro Inc. division, which was founded by Forgash’s father, Anthony Forgash Sr., from Bay City to Franklin, Pa. Forgash worked for Jetro and decided he did not want to move, so he resigned and started his own business.
Forgash’s three sons, Jason, Jeff and Jim, work in the business today.
