Sinamics S210 servo-drive system Siemens' system, encompassing the Sinamics S210 servo drive, Simotics S-1FK2 motor and a single, 9mm-wide cable connecting them, can be used by both machine builders and by machine users as a retrofit. It is connected to higher-level controllers via Profinet. Typical uses include controlling the motions of injection molding machines, robots and equipment used for labeling and pick-and-place operations. The drive system comes with integrated safety functions, including safe torque off and safe stop one, also known as SS1.
