DTA04 Carlo Gavazzi's newest motor thermistor relay can be installed by either an OEM or processor to a machine, such as an extruder, with a motor that's exposed to high ambient temperatures. To protect the motor when temperatures exceed parameters, the DTA04 issues a signal to the motor controller to stop the motor. Users can program the device so that it automatically restarts the motor once temperatures cool, or they can opt for manual restarts.

What's new? The relay, which has been on the market since late 2017.
