Simco-Ion has upgraded its IQ Power static neutralizing system, which has applications in many plastics industry processes.

IQ Power Simco-Ion has upgraded its IQ Power static neutralizing system, which has applications in many plastics industry processes, including bag making, film slitting, winding/unwinding and thermoforming. The system eliminates static, which can attract dirt, shock machine operators and cause product defects.

What's new? The system's control station and its numerous new features. The IQ Power Control Station has a 10-inch color touch screen and an intuitive, user-friendly interface; it is able to monitor up to 10 neutralizing and sensing devices. Users can monitor and control their static-neutralizing systems globally or by individual device. The control station's standby mode disables the neutralizer's high voltage during equipment maintenance or inactivity. Fieldbus-interface capability makes the system compatible with a variety of communication protocols.

Benefits Enhanced control and safety.
