VJX Kice's new airlock is interchangeable with existing Kice Rotary Airlock models and is designed to comply with the National Fire Protection Association's standard regarding explosion prevention. It can be used as a retrofit on pneumatic conveying equipment for applications such as resin handling.
What's new? A new, patented bearing and seal cartridge.
Benefits Easier maintenance. The new cartridge design allows technicians to easily replace bearings and seals within minutes, by simply removing four bolts. By comparison, an airlock with a conventional design requires complete disassembly — a project that can take hours and force a stoppage in production.
